The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have been forced to make some changes for Sunday's match against the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville (4pm), after the withdrawal of captain Josh Jackson with injury.
Jackson tore his calf muscle in training and will undergo scans tomorrow on the extent of the injury and a potential return date.

Jackson's withdrawal means that Luke Thompson will take the number 13 jersey, with Chris Smith coming on to the bench for what would be his first NRL match of the season.

Well it's a start I guess, but still nothing that great.

Just our luck that Taumalolo and Justin O'Neill return for the Cowboys as well.

Can't see how Lewis can be out for a SECOND week due to concussion, when most teams name players concussed the following game.

Could have really done with Lewis and Flanagan in the halves, DWZ in centres for Floppa, and Averillo at fullback. Thompson at lock should be interesting as well.

Well Jackson Topine may not be starting but that might be a good thing for him.. he has been doing well in his role and could easily become a scapegoat if starting so I am happy for him to continue to be eased in.. I still think any other option would be better than Katoa as a starter though and would honestly be happy to see Lachlan get a shot... even Wakeham... anybody!

Trent's gotta mix things up... or at least make sure that Averillo gets more ball prior to Topine coming on

Taumalolo out (again)
Busted one hand and whilst about to return from it busts the other.

Whats the bloke doing!

Not sure I rate O'Neill much these days, but Tabuai-Fidow being out is a positive as well as he's a real danger.

But until we sort out hooker, I can't see us threatening any team.

The Hooker position has been a problem for us now for years .
Ennis was the last actual hooker we had.

Wasn't Reed Mahoney a junior with us at one point? Obviously there was Cook in first grade as well

No urgency
Slow play the balls
No second phase play
No backing up
Stand still passing
How the hell are we going to win.
