The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are delighted to confirm that forward Josh Curran has agreed to become a Bulldog from 2024 onwards.

The talented forward flew to Sydney today to ink the deal which will see him join the Canterbury Club on a two-year term, starting this November.

Curran was granted permission by the New Zealand Warriors to seek new opportunities at the end of 2023; a season where he made 23 appearances, scored four tries, made 547 tackles, 29 tackle breaks, and ran 1406 metres.

The 185cm, 104kg second-rower brings a wealth of experience to the Club, with 61 NRL games behind him. Despite interest from rival Clubs, the 24-year-old, flew across the Tasman to meet General Manager of Football, Phil Gould and Head Coach, Cameron Ciraldo at Belmore Sports Ground this morning, to pen the agreement and officially declare himself a Bulldog.

"From the first time I saw Josh Curran play, he looked like a Bulldog to me," said Gould.

"Once he became available, we just had to sign him up. At 24 years of age, his best football is clearly in front of him. We are very excited to have Josh in our Club".
