The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the addition of four dynamic talents to our squad for the 2024 season. After weeks of speculation and anticipation from fans, the Club is delighted to confirm the signings of Drew Hutchison, Kurt Mann, Jake Turpin, and Poasa Faamausili.

Poasa Faamausili is the first to don the Blue and White, kicking off his journey with the Bulldogs as he undergoes induction today. Faamausili joins the Bulldogs from the Dolphins, adding to the Club's much-needed forward power in 2024. The 26-year-old prop boasts 43 matches of NRL experience, having held positions at the Roosters, Warriors, Dragons and Dolphins since making his debut in 2018.

Our 2023 Roosters acquisitions, Drew Hutchison and Jake Turpin, will officially join the Bulldogs in mid to late November as they commence pre-season training. Hutchison's versatility is a key asset, with 75 NRL appearances under his belt, and offers adaptability in the halves, at hooker, and in the centres.

Jake Turpin, with an equally impressive 75 NRL matches to his name, offers a wealth of experience from his time with the Broncos and Roosters, which will undoubtedly benefit our team.

Turpin has proved himself a good and consistent player who is much respected by his teammates. As he joins the Pack in 2024, he brings a good work ethic and strong leadership skills.

Veteran utility Kurt Mann is also Belmore bound, with his arrival slated for mid-November. An incredibly versatile player, Mann's experience and adaptability were on full display during his 2023 season with the Knights. The hooker and lock became a stalwart of their interchange bench, playing anywhere from 30-60 minutes per game.

The versatile back has amassed 178 appearances since a debut for the Storm in 2014. Mann combines with other key recruits such as Stephen Crichton and Josh Curran to form a new breed of Bulldogs in 2024.

The Club greatly looks forward to officially welcoming them all to the family in the coming days.

Each have had their moments, particularly Drew, but now they have a chance to fight for a regular starting spot.. the competition for positions will be a good thing for us.

Journeymen who offer experience, hopefully discipline and effort in training, culture and as mentioned above, competition for multiple spots, which means depth for multiple positions too.

I remember watching one game the Roosters played and Drew was in the halves. He was easily best on field. It hasn't always been that way when he's played in the halves but his presence will give Burto a kick up the arse.
