I know what the problem is, but I'm not telling anyone.

Well... if the team don't aim up against Storm we'll know he doesn't have a clue.

He needs to pull Shane Flanagan aside and have a chat with him... Flannos experience would be valuable for a young coach like Barrett.

“I know what’s wrong with our attack I’m just not going to discuss it here. It’s not an easy fix. It’s not as easy to just sit there and say ‘I’ll just change the style and do something different.’
“If it was that easy, everyone would be an NRL coach and you’d fix it but again this isn’t the forum where I want to discuss it, I’ll sort it out with my team. We’ll sort that out moving forward with what we do and who we recruit and the type of style we want to play.”

To me that sounds like either dud recruitment, or there are players in the team signed prior to him that are duds and not helping with things.

Cowboys copped a thrashing today but at least they did score two tries by passing the ball observe Dogs players you must keep the ball alive to score tries not go one man out everytime for easy pickings by a defence.
Seems to me they have no clue. Every team has champion players but not one single one stands out to me . Even Tolman and Woods ex dogs looked great today playing under a good coach at the sharks Morris.
I always thought rugby league was about scoring tries and in modern day football it is even easier to do so what is with Barrett with its not an easy fix . I hate to say it but I'm surrounded by Parramatta supporters out this way and they made no bones about warning when it was first announced Barrett was coming to the dogs that he was the worst coach we could possibly take on and I tried to defend that but it is looking more each week that they were right. When the Foxtel commentary team says that we are playing park football is an understatement and i am sure a bunch of high school boys could beat us right now. Where on earth is the pride in that jumper that we kept hearing about. Stand up and be counted before all you players at the dogs become a distant memory and land in the history books of Rugby League for all the wrong reasons.

News Flash: The NRL has charged the whole of the dogs first grade rugby league team and coaches with not playing in the spirit of the game. this came about after a complaint from Souths who claim all their players suffered from leg injuries after the game as a result of the dogs allowing souths to run the ball all day and score more than the expected average number of tries. NRL considers this a serious breach and the dogs may be suspended for the rest of the season as the fans heave a sigh of relief.
