Canterbury Bulldogs powerbrokers wined and dined Eels hooker Reed Mahoney at a club restaurant on Tuesday night.
The Dogs are launching a multimillion-dollar bid to sign the Parramatta No. 9 - one of the most exciting prospects on the open market.
Foxsports.com.au has obtained footage from the Dynasty restaurant inside Canterbury Leagues Club where Mahoney had dinner with Bulldogs coach Trent Barrett, general manager Phil Gould and chairman John Khoury.
Mahoney, who is free to negotiate with rival NRL clubs for the 2023 season and beyond, was supported by his veteran manager Sam Ayoub.
The 23-year-old was reportedly given a tour of the Bulldogs’ facilities at Belmore Sports Ground before the group sat down for dinner.
Mahoney told Canterbury officials he was impressed with the facilities and would make a decision within the next two weeks.
The classy hooker has also been linked to the Broncos, Titans and Dolphins.
