The 2023 NRL Telstra Premiership Schedule has been released and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are thrilled with the family-friendly draw that they have received for the season ahead.

The Bulldogs will enjoy opening matches against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and Melbourne Storm in rounds 1 and 2 before taking on the Wests Tigers at Belmore.

Belmore has long been at the heart of the Bulldogs and this year’s draw will see double the action to go down there, with a second game scheduled for round 20 against the Broncos.

With minimal travel throughout the middle of the draw and mostly Sydney-based matches, Chief Executive Officer Aaron Warburton says the 2023 season will prove one of the most accessible for Bulldogs’ fans.

“This is a commercially strong draw for the Bulldogs,” he said.

“Looking against last year’s draw, we have 40% more free-to-air viewership in 2023 for our at-home Members and fans.

“We will play the majority of our games at Accor Stadium meaning the Club can welcome this space as our home for the season.

“A priority for our Club is to provide better value in 2023, and this draw allows us to provide our Members with better access to players and more exclusive match-day experiences from a home ground.”

The draw will see the Bulldogs play mostly on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in 2023, meaning that families will be able to enjoy the action as their idols take on their opponents at convenient times.

Once again headlining the 2023 NRL draw for the Bulldogs, is a regional Queensland match back in Bundaberg for round 22.

Warburton said the Club was excited to be returning to the much-loved area:

“Last year was the first-ever NRL match to be played in Bundaberg and it was a sell-out event.

“We enjoyed great support for the game and the Club and players are really looking forward to returning in 2023. This year we will be bringing in even more grandstand seats to increase capacity and cater to more local and traveling Bulldogs fans so that they can come along and enjoy the event.

“We thank the Queensland Government via Tourism and Events Queensland and Bundaberg Regional Council for their ongoing support and for making a return to Bundaberg in 2023 a possibility.”

Queensland fans will have the opportunity to see their favourite players line up on three occasions in the sunshine state on three occasions this year, with matches also to be hosted in Brisbane and the Gold Coast in rounds 10 and 27.

With both Belmore and Bundaberg Games sell-out events last year, it is recommended that fans who would like to get along to those rounds join on a Membership and run with the Pack in 2023 for early access to tickets or reserved seating.

if Sharks and Cowboys get the best draws two years in a row, is it really a coincidence??

But in saying that (because that makes it look like the Eels have a fairly easy draw), Eels have more 5 day turnarounds than other sides.

Lol how ironic, that's something Arthur complained about in 2021 I think it was..
