The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have announced Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) as a new major partner on a multi-year deal between the football Club and quick service restaurant.

The partnership, which extends over three years sees KFC join the Bulldogs as the official quick service restaurant partner and means that the ‘finger lickin’ good’ chicken will be the official post-game treat for many seasons to come.

With the KFC logo to feature prominently across the Club’s male and female jerseys and training kit (as the upper back partner) across all levels, Bulldogs Chief Executive Officer Aaron Warburton says the partnership is set to help the Bulldogs squad take top flight in 2023.
“KFC is a much-loved brand in Australia, and the Bulldogs could not be more pleased to welcome them to the Family,” Warburton said.
“The future direction of our Club is all about sustainability and we are committed to building pathways to deliver long-term success for the Club. KFC is a household favourite and their 11 secret herbs and spices are a formula that continues to stand the test of time.
“Much like the world-famous fried chicken, the Bulldogs have an iconic brand in themselves – one that is rich in history, and we have now entered a new era in building our own formula for sustainable success. It is wonderful to have another iconic brand onboard with this journey towards a brighter future for our Club,” he said.

KFC’s rich history of success and innovation in Australia began when the first restaurant was opened in 1968 in Guildford, NSW. Since opening locally 54 years ago, the business has grown exponentially and become a brand that is synonymous with Friday night footy.
Sally Spriggs, Chief Marketing Officer at KFC Australia, said the brand was excited to announce the partnership, saying Bulldog’s Members and Fans can expect to enjoy a ‘Family Feast’ of benefits.
"Both Bulldogs and KFC share a rich history of success which spans several decades, and we couldn't be prouder to team up with the family favourite Club ahead of the 2023 season. The first KFC to come down under was in Bulldog’s territory, so it’s great to be able to support a team that has a rich history with our brand.” Spriggs said.

“We have long been supporting footy teams from both a professional and a local level, and we’re looking forward to being able to give back to both the Club and its vibrant community with this multi-year deal. It’s an iconic combo.
“The Bulldogs are taking great strides when it comes to grassroots and pathway development programs and are one of the most culturally diverse clubs. Bring on the 2023 season!”
