How exciting is this combo?! They're just learning each other's game but already look so good.. they are going to produce so many highlights over the next few seasons.

Fox deserves a lot of credit for going from the team of the decade, to a current bottom team, I mean yea he will get a nice salary but at a risk of what we saw happen at Origin time, but he'll win that jersey back.

They're both showing great leadership on the field and they're giving our younger players in particular a lot of confidence.. while the ladder position isn't great the boys will go into pre-season feeling very optimistic.

Add in a decent centre (or Schoupp only getting better), and a quality second rower (RFM or Kikau), and you have one of the most dangerous edges in the NRL.

I hope Schoupp can go up a level in attack because he's a good team man.. I'm not sure where Skelton and Alamoti will end up position wise but they'll definitely be getting their debuts next season you'd think. Casey will also be in the frame trying to secure a regular starting spot. Huge pre-season ahead.

They are starting to enjoy their football again our centres just have to learn to air the ball to them more often. i agree defencewise Schoupp is not bad but he needs to try his hand in attack more and having found our ideal fullback the backline is slowly looking far more deadly and teams will be wondering whom they have to watch in future and that is where the element of surprise will be in our court then watch the attack fly.

Kiraz has made a big difference as well, he's rarely an easy tackle for opponents and has over 40 tackle busts already this season. If Schoup can get better at feeding the Foxx we will go up another gear again. One thing about Aaron is that he's confident and works hard, so I think he'll be better for another pre-season with Josh and Burton. Kikau is also great at getting the ball to the edge when he needs to.

A bit of depth to a few positions too allowing for decent injury coverage is a big factor and something JK mentioned as a target when we caught up a while ago.
IIRC I asserted at the beginning that an improvement to 12th or higher would be a great building block and launchpad for next season, something I'd be content with.

Imagine how many defenders teams will need on a side of the field with Burton, Kikau, Schoupp, and JAC.

hahaha

It's gonna be interesting to see how things pan out.. Schoupp is the better defender but on potential Casey is probably better with ball in hand
