Yeah he is solid.. we may have a few outside backs but some are entering their final year of contract/ may not be renewed and the others are yet to really hit form.

I'm keen as mate, I really like Allan because despite his age he has that old school mentality of just ripping in and making every play count... that is evident in his defence... not saying he is better than Mitchell but his efforts in Latrell's absence are evidence of a guy who is going to make the most of his opportunities

He was killing it late last season at fullback and has that ball playing ability that other options we have don't.

I suspect Hoppa won't get another contract, so we need someone that can offer that same style of play as Hoppa, just with explosive speed as well.

Looks like Barrett is building a young squad he can keep together for many years, and grow together. Smart move!
