No different to most other coaches contracts with performance clauses.
So effectively Manly can sink for 3 years (2021, 2022 and 2023) before they can shift him on. I suspect at that point he may retire anyway.
For Dessie the more pressing issue at the moment would be his home in Collaroy as that entire strip along there is not far off collapsing due to constant harsh weather of late.

I've read that not making the top 8 is reason enough to not be signed on for '23.
8th and lose their first finals match will be fine by me then.
Perhaps he can argue for more recruitment control then and totally fuck them up for the next decade too?
