Forward pass rule needs to be simplified.
If ball goes forward - forward pass.
If ball goes back - not forward pass.

It's hardly rocket science and in all honesty shouldn't matter which way the hands face.

That said surely in 2020 we have technology that can track players being offside compared to ref (via player GPS units and a virtual field), and RFID tracing that can determine where a ball is and therefore a forward pass.

I agree.
This "back out of the hands, floated forward" bullshit, is just that.
Its not impossible to pass back while running forward you just have to compensate. something that all people can do. Its a learned ability, that you've been refining your entire life.

If they're going to do this they need to have marking on the field like NFL.
