I've umm'd and aah'd over it, but the reality is the games available on it, I don't really have time to play, and those I might play I have on PC.

For me the benefit of GWG is I own the game even if I have to cancel XBL.

Saints Row 2 is a great game. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't have it/hasn't played it.

Legit question, how can any of you guys with a gaming PC still play consoles?

Play online, friends are mostly on it, hooked up to the TV?

I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've touched either console since I've had my gaming PC. And it's going on 2 years.

I can't see myself ever touching a console again. Literally the only reason I'd buy another one is for when GTA VI gets released in 2040 because rockstar always delay the PC release by about a year.

I blame PS4

It's the PS4 exclusives that keep me coming back.

I'm kinda funny. I buy games when they are cheap (or about to probably stop being sold based on age). Then I shelve them and forget about them or don't have time to play them.

I've got a partially built racing sim (G27 + handbrake etc) still waiting on a machine so I can finish it too.

I don't play a lot of multiplayer games though (XB is the only one I multiplay on and I haven't done that for probably 3 years now - since we moved house). Actually I need my arse kicked for that. That said I can admit I'm not good at FPS. I struggle with controllers and coordination badly. Fine with a keyboard and mouse though.

Why do I own what I do?

XBOX - for Forza Horizon series primarly.
PS4 - for immersive single player adventure games that are often exclusives.
PC - for gaming, as well as general use.

Saints Row 2 is a great game. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't have it/hasn't played it.

I can't wait to play 3 again, I have a feeling that playing SR2 will feel like taking a step back after playing 3 lol. I'm actually itching to play it, and GTA 4 again. Once those 2 are done, then GTA 5 will be up.

Well the reason I bought my older PC was specifically for GTA 4 when it was released on PC. I have no desire to buy a gaming console. Computers have it over them in almost every way, and if it's the actual controller that you want to use to play it, there are umpteen USB controllers out there to use, but I prefer playing PC games with a keyboard and mouse. Nothing beats using a mouse for shooting/sniper based games.

It does take some getting used to but yeah, mouse/keyboard is far more accurate/smoother.

Having said that, I do play GTA and Saints Row with a co trolley. Plug and play xbox controller.

This is me 100%.... I'm fine with a simple controller like Super Nintendo, but anything else I get a bit unco with!
