He signed a contract that he was happy with at the time.

Now wants nearly $300,000 more per year.

I can kinda understand it, if he wants to head home to spend time with his daughter. I think I read somewhere shes like 11, so any long term contract would have her coming into many young woman changes around the time his contract ends.

He was a really young father apparently.

If he has no intention of heading home though, well that would be rough on Canberra.
