Well they just bought Albert Kelly for their halves, and he came back rather overweight apparently.

Broncos are due to have a few average years whilst they sort themselves out. Same thing will happen to Storm when Bellamy retires, or Roosters if something ever happens to Robinson. Even Souths look shaky if Bennett hangs up the clipboard.

I think location plays a part though, like in the old days players just wanted to play footy.. quality would live in Canberra for example.. Brisbane will never be able to compete with Sydney and Melbourne in that sense and we all know that's been a big advantage for Easts over the last decade recruitment wise
