Talented back-row edge and prop, Chris Patolo has committed to the Club until the end of the 2024 NRL season.
The one-year contract extension continues a journey that started in the Canterbury-Bankstown District Junior Rugby League, when he first played for Bankstown Sports.
He has since grown through the Bulldogs Academy ranks as a member of the Club's Harold Matthews, SG Ball and Jersey Flegg sides, and as a graduate of the Bulldogs' High Performance Youth Program.
Patolo, as one of a number of talented, young home-grown individuals who have developed through the system, has now been identified as a key player of the future of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
He quickly rose to the NRL through the Bulldogs Development squad, making his official debut in 2021, and having featured in 20 matches for the Club since. A pre-season knee injury has been the only thing holding him back from playing more games in the top grade this year.
Patolo was cleared to return to competition in Round 11 of the 2023 season and has been working hard on his match-fitness ever since.
A force to be reckoned with in Cup, Patolo has earned a contract extension that will see him stay on in the Club's Top 30 until at least the end of the 2024 season.
Putting pen to paper today, the prop signed on for an additional year in the blue-and-white but not before General Manager of Football, Phil Gould dropped this teaser online for fans:
The Club congratulates Patolo on his extension.
