What's your view on this?

Not gonna lie, I'll pirate a game to try it and if I like it, I'll wait for a steam sale and buy it on that. If I don't like it I delete it. I never pirate indie games, though. Guilt is too much.

Having said that, FUCK EA the cunts. Greedy fucks.

Used to ages ago, and then games blew out to like 1GB+ and I was like "yeah fuck that". I just buy them from Steam or EB/JB on sale these days. Saves me the hassle.

Besides real easy to drop a trojan/malware/crypto into cracked exe files these days.

I pirated ATS/ETS to try them and loved them. Not only did I buy both games but now I have an ass load of DLC on both games. I bought them during a steam sale.

Never thought I'd love truck sims...

I bought both on a mad steam sale, but my problem with driving games is this:
Simulators - I'll go all out trying to perfect the art of driving.
Arcade - I'll just see if I can do skids and take out people.

Reminds me of a bug in (I think it was the original Need For Speed High Stakes). Start of every race you could PITT the other cars and drive off for the win without a penalty.

I actually thought I had my say on this but didn't.

Indie games that are free to download I like because it's guilt-free, and also I LOVE pixel games. It's like playing a modern game in 2020 that was programmed in 1990.

I haven't actually been into more recent games though because they just don't really interest me. 2009-2012 was probably the time when I last bought a lot of games, but I haven't bought much since then. Put it this way... GTA V and Saints Row 4 are the most recent games I have on my PC, however I do have compilations of classic games that have been released since then.

Really enjoyed those DLCs. While not long (I think about 6 hours each?) they're very good.

12 hours all up is pretty good. As I’ve never played them before they’re something I’m really looking forward to.
