The Club has agreed to terms with Faitala-Mariner, granting the release so he can take up an opportunity at another NRL Club.

Faitala-Mariner has been a positive contributor to the Bulldogs both on and off the field. He has run out for the Club on 102 occasions and the Bulldogs would like to thank him for his hard work and commitment during his time at Belmore.

The Club wishes him, and his family, all the best for the future.

All I can think is, he has been doing a heap of rehab the past few years, then all of a sudden general training goes up a few gears.. obviously he won't have it easier under Flanagan but I'm assuming there was some hostility or whatever

Do wish him well at DragQueens though, as you hear he generally is a nice guy, yet the club comes first.
