Lewis Hamilton is ticking off Michael Schumacher’s F1 records one by one, but Fernando Alonso says the Briton will never be on the German’s level.

“I remember Michael as a pilot who is hard to beat, one with the greatest talent,” Alonso said, according to German sports magazine, Sport Bild. “He had that little something.
“Lewis is very good and the best of his generation. But he didn’t win the world championship with McLaren when he was a teammate of Jenson (Button).
“At Mercedes, Nico Rosberg also won the world championship (instead of him)."
“Michael never had such things. He always won. For me, Michael is one step ahead.”

Gotta love Alonso, such a straight shooter, and arguably (talent wise) far beyond Hamilton.

Reported that Honda are pulling out of F1 next year forcing Red bull to go back to Renault. Max Verstappen has a clause in his contract that allows him to pull out of Red Bull if that happens. Mercedes have their eye on Max because they see him as the successor in racing to Hamilton but Hamilton is saying that can't happen. Any wonder F1 is being called F1 Hamilton now. Since when did a major sporting event take heed from a driver hmmm we shall see how this develops in the near future.
