Looking like Roosters won't be able to field a side next week due to injuries. Copped a few more tonight.

Rabbitohs lost Adam Reynolds too in the game.

Latrell Mitchell looks to have broken Manu's eye socket or cheek bone with a shoulder to the face, yet was not sent off.

what a joke the referees have sin binned Latrell Mitchell for fracturing manas jaw it appears by driving a shoulder into it . Rules for some and watered down ones for others it seems. Bet he gets no suspension with the finals coming up .

Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell is facing a suspension of between six and nine matches after being charged with a grade two reckless tackle on Roosters centre Joey Manu.
Mitchell was sin-binned for the hit that left former teammate Manu with a suspected fractured cheekbone.

NRL head of football elite competitions Graham Annesley confirmed on Saturday that he felt that Mitchell should have been sent off, and that Bunker official Henry Perenara would be stood down from Saturday night's match between Melbourne and Parramatta and replaced by Alan Shortall.

"In view of events last night, Henry Perenara has been relegated from his role in the bunker. While I can't speak specifically to certain incidents, it's fairly clear there were errors of judgement made," Annesley said.
"It's also important that our match officials are in the right frame of mind, and due to the heavy focus on last night's incidents, we've made the decision to replace Henry."

With four prior offences in the past two years, Mitchell faces a six-match ban if he enters an early guilty plea and would risk a nine-match suspension if he unsuccessfully fights the charge at the judiciary.

So season over for Latrell AND Manu, AND Anneslye says Mitchell should have been sent off. I bet Mitchell takes an early plea for 6 games, else he'll have a carryover suspension to next season.
