What a game! The boys were on both in defence and attack for the full 80.

Big credit to Potter because they look like they're enjoying their footy for once.

My 3 goes to Burton.. bust on both sides of the ball, kicked well, supported well and set up some nice tries.

2 to Tevita.. Set the tone early, was aggressive, had insane line speed and really got into Parra's heads.

1 to the Fox. A well deserved triple, solid runs out of our own end, good defence and some quality leaps.

Special mentions to the entire team tbh that was the best team performance in years. Parra were put completely off their game early and anything they did do well we had an answer for, bar that one pass by Moses for their lone try.

Special mention to Vaughan.

What most excited me about the game was that it's the first time in easily a few years that we haven't relied on opposition failing to win. We just comprehensively outplayed Parra for 80 minutes.

Apparently Vaughan has signed on to the Super League which sucks as he's been very consistent this year and when the other forwards put in he's very effective.

An article is asserting it's due to his form being subpar compared to prior seasons.
Of course it is in a subpar team, yet he's consistently performing above average in the team.
Put him is a decent team and he's likely to shine.
Shit decision IMO.

I'm still thinking we might be getting Haas. We've now let Hetherington and Vaughan go, meanwhile Gus has apparently met with Payne's manager on three occasions.

If Payne wants a release he must have something planned.

Vaughan might not be returning to Origin or anything but he's good for another few seasons. Oh well it is what it is.

Yeah it doesn't add up to let all these guys go without a plan.
