This is a game we should win.... BUT the complacency worries me, and the Titans on paper are a good side. They can certainly win this.

Ben Cummins with Sutton in the video ref box concerns me even more, as we never get a fair go with the referees.

Brimson, Fifita (David), and Tino are strike players for them, and you just know Tino is going to try and start something on field.

Thank fuck we have TPJ for this game.. Tino knows he's not going to get away with any grub shit. At home we should win this.

Hopefully someone takes Tino's head off, preferably someone leaving us this year, so we pay them an early severance when suspended.

Well the boys made that harder than it needed to be, 4 or so tries to the Titans from kicks..

Totally agree. Thankfully stats showed that Titans haven't scored over 30 this year.

We missed Avo out there today, but gees Burton and JAC are a deadly combination. Add in RFM/Kikau (next year) down that side, and thats a lethal side.

Hard to judge Flanno today as most plays went to Burton/JAC side of the field.

Dogs stood up for Burton the best way they could, and that was doing their talking on the field.

I thought Casey went surprisingly well at the back, not a lot of opportunity with the ball but was safe, and that one on one try saver was impressive.

One thing Kyle is doing well is a lot of the 1%ers, particularly in defence.. he's really working overtime helping the edge men out.

Yep, they got stuck in buy played it smart not risking themselves or the win.

Discipline still needs a lot of work.. we invite the opposition in way too often, even when we're leading.. most other teams would have punished us today but we got away with it.

Another thing worth noting is Josh Jackson looked better ball playing today
Only 44m from Jackson today was fairly poor though.

Stimson and Patolo really not offering much. I'd say both should make way for Thompson and Morrin.

There was no doubt in my mind also that we were missing our fullback with covid. His thrust from the backline was sorely needed

at least under Potter he isn't letting sentimentality stand in the way of good form... and that has to be good, players can no longer expect to hold their first grade spots based on previous history like Okunbor used to get away with.

Yea @Old Woof Woof I personally never liked how we were using Thompson. Potter is good at knowing how/where to play players.

It's a shame about JMK peaking now but can't complain with Mahoney to return.

The game is completely different with Avo in it but I won't say anything bad about Casey playing a tough position in his third game.. that stop he made on Ese'ese was brilliant.
