Yeah I was expecting another loss. Even when they started a comeback I was like "Noooooooo".Wow what a turn around.. I just was hoping they'd play to their ability but did not expect to win.. I was thinking maybe lose in a tight contest.. that game was a representation of what we have been seeing in the videos over the off season! so happy for them. Never an easy trip regardless of what squad the Storm put out.. It's so good to see a full team performance where every player is on the same page.
Be interesting to see where we're at around round 6.
Time to gel, and build combos and confidence in themselves and each other.
The coaching team had real match time to iron out stupid mistakes and extract 100% effort for 80 minutes.
Edit: anyone notice the sneaky punch to the back of Kikau's head in the 3rd 1/4 when the storm player was getting up to play the ball?
Or the punch by 1 of 3 players holding another dog around the same time, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF?
Banned from watching live games again!Actually i know why they won. I am up the northcoast on holiday and I didnt have access to foxtel up here so I never put the hex on the dogs by watching it live lol. I know everyone you will all say don't watch it any week then but...... lol
Comparing a well oiled Storm side to a team that's played 1 full NRL game together. If you factor in both teams injuries, but also NRL experience and number of key players, that's a pretty even match up last night. Storm fans of course carrying on about their outs.

There isn't a comparison really.
Even Cooper Cronk on NRL360 reckons that we can out of the blocks with such a different display of attack, it would be hard to defend against.
