I thought Averillo was injured late last game.

BBO and Flanagan should have been halves.

Horrible looking team I reckon... I suspect this one will get ugly.

Didn’t baz say he broke his wrist?
It’s going to be a thrashing.

I just don't see Flanagan as making a huge difference. Lewis has comprehensively outplayed him.

Likewise can't see Averillo playing as he limped off last game and club claimed a broken hand.

Why not Lewis and Flanagan in the halves (Lewis will take the heat off Flanno), and BBO at hooker?

"Canterbury coach Trent Barrett on Thursday said five-eighth Jake Averillo was in doubt due to a foot problem and a calf strain with Lachlan Lewis on standby to replace him."

Confirmed Averillo OUT, Lewis IN.

Probably be the last game he has to impress. Be VERY interesting to see how he plays.

Flanagan and Lewis look like they are playing in slow motion.

Well well well.. this might explain why the NRL are giving Knights a leg up this game:
https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...d/news-story/402b6e34e06a3bfc635f645db892645a

If Knights dont win the premiership this year or next, apparentely Ponga can walk from a 2 year player option. NRL are desperate to keep talent like Ponga, but theres a high chance he'll head to NZ Rugby on his next contract.

Rather interesting indeedn.

I'm not bothering with the second half. Knights could have every player bar 1 marched off the field, Bulldogs could score 4 straight tries, and somehow Knights would still be given the win.

They are only just holding onto the bottom of the 8, and losing quite a few players next year.
