Definitely a danger game, but winnable if we turn up.

Reynolds should add some spark, and Pele much needed size. Could spell the end of Flanagan if Reynolds comes on to replace him.

All reserves named are starting in NSW Cup (which finally has a stronger looking side - and Samuel Hughes debuting) so no players are likely to be promoted up.

Pele is a big in

What's the deal with Morrin as reserve? I thought he was outside the 30

I really hope we see Skelton get a run soon.. I just feel having that extra genuine strike player would be good for a few extra line-breaks, and tries

I'd say possibly next week in the second row. We lost a lot of players today in the game, but what a game it was.

King - eye
Preston - finger webbing
Pele - fractured arm
RFM - concussion
Kikau - concussion

This on top of TPj, Thompson, and Patolo in our forward pack.
BBO and Brown in our back added to that list.
That's 10 out of our top 30!!!

I'm really proud of the lads.. ever since that Manly game our average points against is much improved, and that really shows a shift in the team's mindset. It wasn't a pretty game, but if they keep playing with resilience the attack will improve.

What a player Preston is. What is really impressive about him is his footy IQ.. he has good anticipation and thinks quickly on his feet.. he's the type of player we have been missing for a long time.

Next week's forwards choice is limited to...
Davey - 2nd row
Clarke - Hooker
Waddell - 2nd row
Topine - 2nd row
Mahoney - Hooker
Sutton - Prop
Hughes - Prop

That leaves us with a starting forward pack without a specialist Lock.
Clarke as Lock perhaps (or Grub) and one forward on the bench.
No utility on the bench either if Grub plays Lock.

We need special dispensation from the NRL just to field a side FFS!
Then there's the Sutton's Good Friday Curse against Soufffffffs...

Hughes is coming off a back injury too, so probably not going to be put straight into the top side.

Development players include...
Turahui - Lock
Retchford - Prop
Kautoga - Prop
Matalavea-Booth - Prop

Who else is there in Reggies etc?

I don't want to be negative after a loss, but since it's something that could cost us in the future,

did you guys think the Cowboys were in front of the referee quite a bit yesterday? particularly in the first half.. I heard the crowd booing so I must not be the only one.
