Canterbury have parted ways with club great Steve Price after just 12 months as the Bulldogs’ head of football.
Price, a life member of the club, stepped into the role in August last year, marking his official return to the Bulldogs in a full-time capacity since leaving the club at the end of 2004.
The former captain and premiership winner joined the Bulldogs board in 2018 but wanted a more hands-on role with the club. That dream has now evaporated.
His position has been under much conjecture since Canterbury’s season ended last month.
The move is part of more widespread changes which have occurred at Belmore in recent months. It has resulted in the coach, chairman, two other directors and now their head of football all leaving the club.
Price was appointed by former chair Lynne Anderson.
