The thing I love most about this try is that Nathan kept the idea in mind after viewing what was a seemingly insignificant try all the way back in round 6 by the Roosters, Tedesco kicking for his winger to score a late try in a game that was well and truly over by that stage. You've got to appreciate seeing a guy who puts in the extra effort into his study and training reaping the benefits.

Good pickup. That kick from Cleary was even cleaner. Sounds like he puts a stack of work into his kicking.

You can see it in the way he's just so composed... I remember when he was just that "safe" player with the occasional bit of flare, but now he's turned into the full package.

Lachy Lewis COULD have been that kinda player as well, but just couldn't reach the heights required.

He got a raw deal - lack of quality coaching, lack of quality around him (bar when Morrisx2 were with us).. it seems like forever since a half as thrived at the Dogs, or hooker for that matter.. it really is a club problem, not a player problem, but I have no doubt that will change next year.

I'm suprised Raiders are not looking at him, given he's off contract and they need a half. They are going hard after Fogarty, but Titans refusing to budge given he has 2 years left on his contract, and is a major playmaker for them.

they might turn their attention to Trash Taylor

To be honest Ash would be a good pickup for a team who can work with lazy players.. he'd be useless for us but I could see him reaching potential at a stronger (currently) club
