I never did own an Atari console but a family friend back in the day had a heap of games that I remember playing.. Pitfall was cool, as was Hero.

Same here - I didn't own one but the neighbours did. We didn't play it that often but from what we did play, I would say that River Raid and Pitfall are the ones I remember most.
