Back in the day ❤.. we had "stars" and best in their position or thereabouts, for fans and kids to celebrate and follow. May those days return in our lifetime.

Absolutely. Sherwin was criminally underrated, El Masri, while played on for 1/2 seasons too long shat points, Utai was a tank for every game barring the Cowboys semi, Patten was insanely good and consistent, the rotation of C. Hughes and Perry worked great for that time, Price and O'Meley were top 2 front row combo, we had backrowers worth their weight in gold: Norton, Grimaldi, Mason, Sonny, etc.

And I've just made my self suicidal....

Aghh yes those were the days.

I have to be satisfied now that at least we had those glory days of smart, fit, fast, agile, skilful, tough playmakers...it's all we have left ....reminiscing lol.

And those days were the days I genuinely loved the NRL. I used to buy big league and rugby league week every week and read both of them cover to back page about twice, I'd watch every single rugby league show, I'd watch practically every game on foxtel and I'd watch our next week's opponent game intensely to know what to expect. These days I barely get through an entire Bulldogs game and my only source of news is from here.
