I wouldn't call it botched, more like underwhelming.

I always thought that the legend would retire at a WrestleMania event, not a Covid Survivor Series. His legacy deserves better than that.

Regardless, I'd have him inducted in the Hall of Fame at the next WrestleMania - provided there's actually a crowd there.

Yeah it seems odd in the timing. Unless he has health concerns.
