Clearly some positions aren't working and things need changing.

1 Jake Averillo
2 Nick Cotric
3 Will Hopoate (no other Top 30 option)
4 Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
5 Corey Allan
6 Lachlan Lewis
7 Kyle Flanagan (no other better option)
8 Dylan Napa
9 Jackson Topine (or Brad Deitz if in Top 30 now).
10 Jack Hetherington
11 Adam Elliott
12 Josh Jackson (Jackson isn't a lock).
13 Luke Thompson

14 Chris Smith
15 Renouf Atoni
16 Dylan Napa / Jackson Topine / Stimson / Britt
17 Ofahiki Ogden

We really are light on players at the moment thanks to injuries (RFM, Meaney, Okunbor, Seumanufagai, Crichton).

I'll have to think about mine but I'd keep Jake in the halves just for his kicking.. I think Atoni could do with a stint in Mounties, and I'd maybe try Lewis as hooker with Jackson.. I mean it literally can't get worse than Katoa

Have we tried lewis as a hooker?
Wakeham needs a spot for his confidence alone.
If we can fuck off both katoa's can we elevate a few into the top 30?
What if we manage to find hopoate a spot elsewhere with a train and trial for his arsehole brother as a sweetner for him to fuck off?

Pretty much what I would pick, and if players were fit rmf, okunbor and meany will definitely start over Napa, hoppa and Allan.

Napa was a typical cast off from Easts. Allan is disappointing as we have tried him as winger fullback and centre with little result so a cast off from souths. Waddell is another disappointment not first grade standard so a cast off from Penrith.
and if our half back doesn't wake up he will be another cast off from Easts. Smart clubs don't let good players go although occasionally they slip through the hoop. And observe the position on the competition that the teams are that have given us their cast offs hasn't had one negative effect on them. So what have we bought. Cotric came from the raiders and they haven't missed him and he is yet to prove himself to me again hot and cold. Hetherington is improving each week but i really think they need to train one of our forwards in ball distribution and get the backs to follow him.

Well todays win by the cowboys now has us the only side with no win in 5 games and we actually believe we can beat the cowboys next week. The cowboys don't want to be on the cellar so they will throw everything at us next week to stay 4 points above us with more incentive. I can't see us doing it unless we actually play 80 minutes of football instead of 40 . Yet another nail in our season.

Lewis deserves a crack given what some other guys are dishing up.. even if you give him Hoppa's spot just for his defence.. Hoppa has shown time and time again that he's not going to give his all at centre.. compare his efforts at centre to his preferred position if fullback. We are being run through as if we are a park football team (we basically are).. Lachy might miss a few tackles but will also make plenty of good saves

I'd even have Lachlan play a Wade Graham type role just to utilise his big boot.. Kyle doesn't have much of a boot on him

Well the teams been named and no Lewis, just the two Katoa's ,Napa ughhh I would have put Topine in for that waste of space, and our captains decided to get injured at training so he is not playing not that he does anything for our attack anyway. the backline is intact, the halves are the same and the hooker is the same not much substance in the forwards unless Hetherington and Thompson combine to menace the opposition. No doubt Stopate is acting Captain a fine example of how run slowly and miss tackles. no attack or defence there also. For goodness sake dogs please just go out once and make me eat my words I will happily oblige for a win but I am not holding my breath. Cant see us moving off cellar dwellers now. Hopoate says the team trained better than ever today well why didn't they do that from the start of the season if that is the case but we need to see good training turn into a great performance. Words are cheap actions speak louder.

I'm very surprised Lachlan is not getting a run because at least he could plug a defensive hole.. I would give him Hoppa's spot

I don't know what it is about Hoppa but he plays with so much more energy at fullback, more so in defence... I don't think he's ever been overly fond of playing at centre... but the issue now is that he has next to no pace anymore.. he's put a lot in to the jersey but seeing as it's his last year on contract I think it's time to replace him

if i had any say in it he would be on my list to pension off far too slow we have had the slowest backline in years and apart from Cotric we still are although in fairness DWZ did impress me last week the first fullback to go forward with us since the general retired

I think Schoupp needs a crack soon because he's got a bit of pace about him, but also enthusiasm.. he'll have a go.. Cotric is going slightly backwards with us but not as a player, just his effectiveness.. he's best when he gets space but unfortunately due to us having few threats, he gets swarmed by defenders.. he will benefit massively when JAC arrives, or even when Jayden returns.. DWZ always gives it his all but unfortunately errors and ill-discipline have been a big part of his game, but I agree he was fairly impressive last week... DWZ just needs to string a few good outings together to get his confidence up.

Napa is just super unfit.. he got away with it at the Roosters because he'd come on when they were on top or needed some quick impact

which begs the question why does Barrett start him this week . I would sit him on the bench and if necessary put him on but no way would I start him
