Just from watching from the last couple of weeks the new rule of 6 again is only there to change moments of the games,
The rule seems to benefit refs to control the outcome of the game nothing more nothing less.
I’ve seen teams get six again for no reason and other teams get hard done by.

Did tonight’s game have any influence from the 6 again rule?

I think it has potential, particularly against Storm's tactics which have become a blight upon the game, yet needs improving.

That's the area that needs improvement.
Clear call why.

At least the players deserve that, fans to a lesser extent too for the sake of transparency.

Not sure, yet that would be interesting and it would largely negate the advantage of a quick play of the ball.

These rules are so open ended it prevents clarity by refs in regards to exactly when these situations should occur. They are trying to speed the game up the wrong way.

Instead of 6 again, make it a 3 second count, if the player is still in there after that, 10 minute sin bin and $1000 fine.

Then see how quickly they get off the players.

The right tweaks to the rules will vastly improve the game whilst still ensuring transparency for the players and fans.

Crichton was their best player. If he stayed o his bloody wing and the defence spread like it should, we'd have locked them out.

Last week our middle was shot, this week the edges.

I like the rule. I have a problem with its implementation.
Refs see it as “less than a penalty” then rule 6 again for minor infringements that wouldn’t have drawn a penalty before.

Thats how its designed to work. Def a better way for refs to influence an outcome. We were hard done by at times and then didn't get them in return. Nothing new for us I guess.
I just think it’s a rule that will be used for rigging games.

Exactly this, before it will just be play on now they just call it if they think it’s an infringement,
I would love to see a captains challenge on one of the six again call .

That would be interesting, as it largely negates the benefit of the 6 again call.
