Referee is dead set useless in this game.

Missed a clear knock on, and now blowing penalties to get them upfield.

Make that a second clear knock on missed.

This is after missing a player offside for Bears first try.

WOOHOO Topine over from a nice kick through by Wakeham.

Converted by Wakeham and it's 10 all with 26 minutes left. No Skelton yet.

SHIT YEAH !!! Alamoti scores a cracking try off a Wakeham kick. Hit the line at speed and blasted through the line.

Now a penalty for Dogs right in front after taking out Okunbor chasing a kick.

Dogs 18
Bears 10

10 minutes to go.

Amazed Marschke stayed on the field after his effort on Rajab. Huge coathanger. Not even on report.

absolutely good win with our halves disrupted but the bears beat themselves in the end with crazy penalties a couple of their players were lucky to stay on the field

Solid win by the Dogs and they go through to face the Jets (which they drew with only due to a Toia brain explosion late in the game).

Bears choked towards the end with 3 costly penalties in front (all fair).

Jets are Sharks feeder club.

Great resilience by our boys. Sure they made errors but our guys worked for it.

I said before the finals series this team has 2018 vibes about it, and how ironic we meet the Jets next week for a spot in the GF.

Definite underdog vibes, but next week will be interesting if ZDC is out. Most likely Rajab and Wakeham in the halves again.

Hayward and Rajab are still really young. Rajab was SG Ball Player of the Year 2021, and is really only in first year of Flegg (ditto Hayward - 2022 Flegg Player of the Year).

Rajab is more of a livewire, whereas Hayward is more controlled. Big future for both of them.

Not sure where Joseph O'Neill fits in the puzzle but he's meant to be very good as well.

Rajab has real footy smarts about him and brings x factor. It's obviously a step up from Flegg but hopefully the Panthers bashed the Jets up a bit lol

They've been playing him at fullback in recent times to learn the game from the back. Smart move I reckon.

I wonder if we'll see Wakeham again in first grade.. he may have used up all his chances with us but geez he's had a solid season.

He's one of those players that's really good in NSW Cup, but can't quite reach the requirements of NRL. That might change with Cam Ciraldo though.

Yea. There was a few games where he showed intent in defence but we played quite conservative under Baz.
