As for my opinion, if Grant Atkins is that easily offended by typically regularly used colloquialisms from the Aussie vernacular, he should head back to teaching in a Catholic school!

I think the biggest issue is being a life member of the Penrith club, and if he officiates any Panthers games (or any decisions that would favour the Panthers).

That said the Bulldogs pilfering his beloved Panthers, could potentially lead to bias.

Then again ANY referee could easily construct bias in a game and have contacts put money on games for them. Only way to stop that is ban betting in the NRL.

I actually don't see the Penrith bias people speak of, like rub of the green sure, but all the top teams get the rub... what I can't stand is the special treatment that goes beyond rub that teams such as Souths get. Latrell could beat an opponent to death and they'd probably give him man of the match for it.

I never used to, but it's consumed me! haha actually I'm having a bit of a break from watching games so that I'm not being toxic at game time lol. I must say, my step dad has done well to put up with a lot of shit from my family, without getting the shits.
