Thought we played well to get the win.

Was good to see Khoury congratulating the players on the field after the game too!

First half we were all over the Raiders.
Second half we were sloppier but it was played with mostly NSW Cup / Ron Massey / Jersey Flegg players.

Reynolds had a solid game, as did young Jacob Preston. Mahoney's service was sharp and he was always talking.

Pele punched the line hard with his runs, despite a late error.

Very positive signs. Defence was solid with 1 missed tackle in first half.

The stats tell a really good story, just in regards to work rate and 1% stuff.. That's already a sign of Ciraldo's influence.. it's all the little things that lead to opportunities. It appears this team is already showing more cohesion than previous years heading towards round 1. Potter obviously also deserves credit, as he got the team gelling together a lot better than we had in years.

Our completion rate in the first half was almost perfect, and we missed a single tackle.

That's pretty damn impressive and if we can be that consistent throughout the season it's going to really cause other teams problems.

Yeah dude. Like people say trials don't mean anything, but already we can see that the team is responding to what Ciraldo is coaching into them.. if they can have another good showing against the Sharkies that will give them plenty of confidence going into round 1. Not to mention guys like Preston really took his opportunity to potentially stake his claim to an early season debut.
