The Bulldogs — who up until that game had been outscored this season by Manly’s Reuben Garrick — etched themselves into the history books with the biggest win in the final round by a last-placed team in premiership history.

Great day to be a Tigers supporter 🤣🤣🤣🤣😝😝😝🥳🥳

Whilst it would be the wrong thing, I expect he will be sent packing.
If they oust Maguire, they will find it hard to replace him with a creditable coach.
Most will view it as a poisoned chalice , as results are immediately expected.
I can see what Maguire is doing, in cleaning out their salary cap and setting up their juniors and CoE, yet maybe he is not suited to the top job and better suited to coaching the juniors, recruitment etc.
He certainly is personally invested in the club and I doubt the club will find anyone else as invested as he is.
Flanno, Cialio (sp) and Green are the likely targets.
I hope we snatch Cialio (sp) as our assistant coach if he is courted by the tigers.
Looking at their forums, they're posting similar to use a few years ago i.e. massive infighting over everything, no confidence in their board or the clubs themselves.
If they're unable to agree upon direction and settle, they will continue to flip flop and struggle to move forward, let alone sign decent players.
Look at us as evidence of that, they rather come to the wooden spooners than them!
Even marquee players seeking a retirement package (Finnicune) are not willing to go there and plod away for a few years.

If Maguire goes then whoever comes in the club need to get behind 100%, no talking smack to the media, no letting players complain and carry on, it's his way or forever bottom 8.
