I fear people may be expecting to much from him, lets not forget he is untested at NRL level and it will take sometime for him to adjust. You know that most of our fan base will be tearing him down after the first couple of games if he doesn't live up to all the hype. His only saving grace is that he comes to us from a winning culture, but winning for our team has been few and far between, we have become to accustomed to losing. Under Pay's coaching we have made a habit of it!!!! With the weight of expectation on thomos shoulders it wont take long until our team drags him down with them. Because for the life of me I can't see us winning anything but the soon this year.

I agree and I already feel sorry for Thompson, I just hope we can lift as a team but that dumb fuck pay keeps picking the wrong players and plays them out of position.

I know he can't do it all on his own but I reckon he's going to be a much needed boost of energy for the team.. some of our lads just look mentally drained
