Gould will be awesome but he will never coach again,Torn on this one
Clearly we need an experienced coach.
Clearly we need a well respected yet hard nosed coach. Our guys are soft and not focused.
We need a coach who is a keen student of the game with new ideas and adaptable tactics.
We need a coach who can attract players who feel the coach will add something to their game.
We need a coach to instill a wInner attitude and confidence in his decisions that he knows what he's doing.
All the coaches thrown up and mentioned so far don't have all these qualities except Bellamy. He is No.1 but....
Of whats been talked of so far I'd go:
Bennett or Gould - Coaching Director-Advisor/Mentor
Coach: Wane/Fitzgibbon
Trainers/Conditioning/Asst coaches all replaced.
Summary
If we cant get Bellamy, who you can thoroughly trust to get us back on track, then I would get a respected Coaching Director to mentor and recruit and Wane with Fitzgibbon as Asst. Yes I'd take a chance on him.
Another summary:
Anyone other than Pay as he can't offer any more than what we've seen and we need yet another clean out.
I don't expect any kind of sustained success until we can replicate the Rorter's systems. They are the new template everyone will try and copy.
Took them ages to get where they are so it will take us a while as well.
I'll be just happy to see gradual improvement and don't expect miracles.
Benett I think he won’t be leaving Souths any time soon.
Flanno St.Georges next coach.
Wane/ Fitzgibbon is a risk but can work.
Don’t know what options we have
Toves?
Walters?
Tim sheens?
