Under-fire Brisbane coach Anthony Seibold has been given a brutal ultimatum that will decide his future at Red Hill.
According to The Courier Mail, Seibold has been told by Brisbane bosses that he must now win five of the last 10 games in the season to keep his job.
The development comes after a hopeless Friday night performance from the Broncos in which they were blown of the park in a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Wests Tigers.
The ultimatum seems like a big ask for Seibold, whose Broncos have already advanced through the easiest part of their 2020 draw.
In order to keep his job, the former Rabbitohs mentor will need a winning record as his side faces up to the Storm, Sharks, Rabbitohs, Raiders, Dragons, Roosters, Panthers, Titans, Eels and Cowboys in coming weeks.
In order to win five games the Broncos will need to muster up something special and defeat at least one competition heavyweight.
If they fail in that task the Broncos have told Seibold they will organise a severance package to end his five-year contract before the 2021 season.
