Apparently his lawyer has engaged some top of the line computer forensics/investigators from Europe to track down who originated the rumour. They weren't interested in those spreading it, but those who started it.

I've said that all along to my Broncos supporting mates. I believe, like Pay, he was set up to fail.

Their cap, and seemingly, board seems to be a mess. You have Catrius who might as well be replaced with a palm tree on God knows how much, the injured utility on 1 million who's played 1 and a half games his entire career and the homeless man's Ben Barba on another million. That's close to 3 million dollars on players who are beyond useless. They got rid of Andrew McWhatever and replaced him with fucking Isaac Luke for fuck knows why and their backs have fallen to shit barring a handful. Oates, shit. Isaako, shit. Staggs, still good but give it time.

They were supposed to have the best, youngest forward pack but that's gone to shit now. Haas is a beast but at this rate he'll have to retire at age 26 due to burn out. To lose your best forward to the team that probably won't be in the game in about 2 years time should have never had happened. Heads should have rolled over that one. TPG must have fucked Lockyer's mum or something because he's as popular as Hilary Clinton in Texas.

exactly this.. he walks away yeah he will get his money but coaching career in limbo.. he stays, he's got at least enough guys there who are keen to get on with football.. Staggs, Carrigan, Farnworth, Haas.. heck even Lodge has a good crack and these guys will be around when the real trouble makers such as Boyd are long gone.. He showed at Souths that he can coach, and also made the semis last year with a rookie team

Hate to say it but I think there excuse is eventually what ours will be.

By that I mean board getting involved in shit they shouldn't, when they should stick to running the club from a business perspective and leave recruitment, etc to the coaching staff/recruitment staff.

and of course once again a case of old heads trying to run things like in the 80s/90s ...
