Every video I've seen the frame rate is pretty bad.

I don't think I've seen better lighting in a game, though.

Could be it downscaling for video capture too, or screen recording on the same rig.

In the IGN review he's using a GTX 1080 and mentions some slow down when taking off from major cities, but otherwise pretty good. Will probably struggle below that and I'm sure it'll need a decent CPU and good amount of ram due to the loading method.

It also streams data from Bing maps, otherwise you'd need 1,000 hard drives to store it. So that means a lot of internet use and if your internet is struggling then the game is going to struggle.

Yeah, seen that. Think he said he had 32gb of RAM?

The internet thing could be a killer for some people. Good luck to those who don't have an unlimited plan.

Depends if hes running on Ultra on a 1080. Seems there are various visual levels and then settings inside of them.

I pre-loaded the game. Booted up to quickly check it out. At the start it asks you to set your accessibility settings. Then it tells you that it needs to download another 90gb

RIP ADSL2 / Mobile Broadband users .. the poor CDN dealing with the download is probably being reamed of bandwidth.

Me too. Got to about 10% a few times before it crashed and started again. Now I'm up to 25%

Apparently everyone is having the same issues. It already has a crapload of 1 star reviews because people can't download it.
Ahh ok I feel better now lol I was cursing my pc lol hey do you use skyvector to plot flightplans?

Ultra Graphics @ 4K
i7-7700k
Zotac RTX 2080Ti AMP 3 fan
16gb 2400mhz ram
250gb ssd (OS)
1TB samsung 970 EVO+ M.2 NVME,
1TB 7200rpm hdd

and it chugs along at like 30fps ... OUCH!!

GFX Card and CPU are almost at 100% at certain times in the video.

I woke up this morning and realised the download had frozen at 95%. Fortunately when I restarted it said that it only had 3GB left to download. 3 hours later it still said, "Preparing to download"

Should be able to play it some time next year.
