PS5 Australian prices are:

Standard edition - $749 (same as Series X)
Discless edition - $600

Coming out in Australia and America on 12th November, most other countries on 19th November.

Sony announced that pre-orders would go live tomorrow so I went to do some gardening, came back in to find pre-orders are already live and EB Games is sold out of stock.

Sounds like I'm no chance of getting a PS5 at launch, my sister's know a JB HIFI store manager so looks like that's my only shot..

RTX 3080 cards were set to go live at 11pm. Every computer store website in Australia collapsed at the same time.

LOL aaaaaaaannnnd they deadset just DDOS'd their own site within 5 minutes of sending out an "RTX 3080 is here" email, so now nobody will get one



Mwave's site copping a hiding as well. Infact it's down and out.

Scorptec officially SOLD OUT already, and all their 2080s are dropped by like $400 a card.

Not even that. The cards went on sale at 11pm, they went down at 10:58

When the site finally loaded they were out of stock. Managed to get Scorptec and Mwave to load. Both charging $1,399 for the cheapest card. Same card on PLE is $1,159

Yeah. It looks like all companies let you order stock for the first production cycles. So if you managed to order you could get it any time between release date and Christmas.
